Key Responsibilities.Forecasting & BudgetingBusiness Planning Product/Category ManagementAssortment Planning Merchandising & Inventory Control Sales and MarginsTeam Management Business/ Merchandise performance Analysis Reports - Developing and maintaining MIS formatsDevelopment of Merchandising ToolsCompetition Mapping Other responsiblilities- Responsible for the overall planning (option wise) and performance (margin wise) of Private Label of Shoppers Stop in house brand I Jean wear for Men's and Ladies. - Making of business/merchandise plan/calendar is critical activity in this responsibility.Selection and buying of merchandise for the private label as per the merchandise plan.Range/Design Brief - Developing detailed brief for design team with respect to latest trends (national and international), competition, positioning and past learning's. Development of new vendor base - Development of new vendors to scale up and to improve margins as per the future plans.Range analysis - Analyzing the whole range ( tops/bottoms/wovens/knits) as per the requirement and incorporating the changes as per the feedback from retail and production houses ensuring that desired margins as per the BP/MP are met.Engaging with marketing team/Visual merchandising team for brand shoot based/event shoot on the design theme, positioning.
