My journey in the food industry started after completing my postgraduate degree Master's in Food Science & Nutrition from the University of Mysore in 2008. With this foundation I initially started as a Nutritionist in a gym and a Dietician in a hospital, focusing on individual health. However, I soon realized that the scope of improving health extended far beyond. This set the course for my transition into Food Safety and Quality Management.From 2011 to 2018, as a Food Safety Officer, I delved deep into the operational side of the food business. Auditing caterers serving IT corporates, from small vendors to large-scale operators, gave me insight into the ground-level complexities of ensuring safe food for hundreds of employees. During this period learned the importance of bridging the gap between management expectations and operational realities.In 2019, I took on a role as the Quality Manager for Pan India at Quess Corp's F&B division, managing food operations for diversified sectors such as hospitals, banking, IT, educational institutions & manufacturing. This experience enriched my understanding of the end-to-end food business operations, from bidding ,procurement to execution, compliance, and customer service. The ability to understand both the corporate and operational sides has been a core strength of mine.The COVID-19 pandemic was a turning point. I spearheaded compliance efforts and developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under strict lockdowns and resource limitations. My approach wasn’t just about safety it was about maintaining employee morale among ground-level food handlers. Introduced innovative solutions, such as a newly launched COVID disinfectant sprayer, and pushed for vaccine advocacy, ensuring a safer environment for our teams.This period of adversity demonstrated the need for a more integrated approach to Food, Health, Environment, Quality, and Safety (FHEQ-S). As businesses evolve I saw firsthand how sustainable practices and health-centric strategies could secure both operational excellence and business longevity.Thus, Login Health Services was born bringing together the experiences in nutrition, food safety, and quality management.
