Project leader on research project of big data analysis.Tech Lead on providing log analysis service to Norwegian higher education & research sector.

Working on different projects varying from SIP, Network security and Multimedia.Uninett Sanntid project: - Working on SIP project to provide voip services to uninett partner universities and research institutes. I developed anaomaly detection tool using machine learning algorithm to detect attacks in VOIP network and also build monitoring tool to debug in distributed SIP infrastructure and many other tools such as switchboard application using Asterisk.Appflow Project: - Working on monitoring network traffic at UNINETT's backbone network. Working on monitoring the network on 10-40 Gbps and later use this data to detect anomalies using machine learning algorithms.Multimedia Project: - Working on building nation wide multimedia portal to provide access to lecture videos and related material using advanced methods. e.g. Speech to text, OCR, video segmentation, chunk based streaming. Also working on collaboration tools using standard protocols such caldav, carddav etc.

The OISF is a organization founded to build Suricata IDS/IPS, the next generation Intrusion detection and prevention engine. OISF is part of and funded by the the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) and the Department of Homeland Security's Directorate for Science and Technology HOST program (Homeland Open Security Technology).I worked as a consultant. The main part of my work was handling of target based TCP stream and avoid evasion attacks. Later on worked on different app layer parsers such SSL/TLS, HTTP.

I worked on the energy consumption of security protocols for mobile devices on a esecurity project from Nokia.

I design a package to develop Distributed fault-tolerant applications using Spread Toolkit for laboratory work for Dependable System at Department of Telematics, NTNU and it is also used now in University of Stavanger.
