Volunteering for basketball it improved my communication skills as during my experience,I had the opportunity to interact with women's junior teams.This helped me in having confidence to speak with different people with different ethnicities and backgrounds.I have learned on how to be organised.For example I had to be in time in the workplace, before they training started. Moreover basketball strenghtned my teamwork skills as, by being an assistant coach, one of the aim was to be confident with yourself enough in order to give different ideas of the exercise that you want to perform. Furthermore I have completed my DBS and attended online workshops which were providing information about coaching and how to deal with juniors when teaching them. For example ,health and safety advices were given, such as being aware of the different behaviour of children.

During the months of experience,I have learned to interact with different customers and asked for feedback in order to learn how I can improve better in terms of communication and confident skills.Furthermore I had an experience with time management, for example ,being able to be organised and balancing the work was crucial ,in order to be on time when beginning my shift hours.Moreover team work skills were required as there was need to be organised an interact with staffs in order to split the different activities to complete which included setting tables, cleaning, organising cutlery, and being able to get the plates from the different tables.
