SFU Beedie’s Career Management Centre’s mission is to empower business students and alumni with skills for career success, and to create lasting stakeholder relationships with business students, alumni, faculty, and the business community.The CMC’s dedicated staff of career development experts works closely with students to provide students with the resources that they need for successful long–term career management. This includes program–specific Career Management Program, one-on-one career advising, mentorship and networking opportunities, and a robust collection of online resources, all designed to help students achieve their career goals. The team also maintains strong connections to industry, working with employers to help them connect with the right students and alumni from SFU Beedie’s programs through a variety of on and off campus recruitment opportunities.

- Successfully managing independent consulting company, providing business solutions to client organizations by developing and evaluating their business strategies and closing the gaps between execution and planning. - Increased revenues of client companies by identifying new business areas where company might be eligible for CRA tax credits to generate huge revenues.

Led Planning & Implementation for the Career Services, to facilitate career opportunities and placements for the ISB Management Program of both campuses (Hyderabad & Mohali), and leading student and recruiter engagement, both on and off campus. - Developed and Managed relationships with Industry Leaders. - Collaborated with other ISB Departments (Admissions / Student Engagement & Applied Learning / Alumni Engagement / 4 Institutes of Advance Management Programs for School wide matters- Coached sudents to make informed decisions and to develop the required competencies for advancing in their career.

Led the planning and implementation of various Student Engagement & Applied Learning activities such as Business Competitions / Consulting Projects / Knowledge Conclaves / Industry Study Treks / Workshops.  Conducted 1on1 “Curtain Raiser” sessions in the beginning of academic year to help students settle on Campus and help them to create Personal Development Plan based on their strengths and developmental needs.  Developed Career Tree Mapping tool for guidance & tracking students’ progress to fill competency gaps.  Career coaching to 250+ students, annually. 100 % success in placing the mentored students.  Designed and Conducted Workshops to coach students to articulate their career aspirations to prospective employer’s Mentored Graduate Student Board and Professional Club members to plan and conduct learning events for Students.

 Successfully managed team members from 30 mill & forest operations to put the SR&ED tax credits claim together.  Increased returns by improving and simplifying the process of identifying, tracking, and submitting the R&D projects of all the Weyerhaeuser Operations to claim R&D tax credits. Increased R&D tax credit claims by building R&D community web site that improved networking and communication process among R&D project leaders and team members.  Reduced audit time by 100% and minimized claim loss by developing and streamlining a process to respond to CRA audit requirements more quickly, efficiently & effectively.  Created and executed the internal R&D tax credit training program for all Weyerhaeuser Canadian operations, to eliminate the high cost of using the consultant services to put the R&D tax credit claim together. This reduced the R&D tax credit program cost to 80%.

Kamloops, Bc, Canada

 Managed medium to large-sized maintenance & new equipment installation projects ($5 Million) with cross functional team consisting of 35 people & external vendors.  Led & Managed Project team of 30 people to reconfigure conveyor to maximize shipping of bales in the rail car  Recognized as an innovative project of the year with annual cost savings of $250,000. Identified & clearly defined contractor’s work scope that reduced the production loss time & the annual budget cost.  Developed and implemented matrix, to evaluate options to purchase new equipment and to reduce maintenance cost
