I'm currently a full time student at the University of Florida majoring in finance. My goal is to start my professional career working in investment banking and use that as a stepping stone towards one day managing investments for clients. Ever since picking up the 2016 Forbes Investment Guide, I knew that I wanted a career deeply immersed in the market. I find most aspects to be interesting but my true passion lies with investing. At a young age I realized the first step to a good life, for myself at least, is being financially free. When I was older I realized that the only way to ever be truly financially free is to make your money work for you instead of you working for it.I am an analytical thinker and plan on strengthening this skill set by completing a minor in statistics, as well as seeking certification in Python, C++, R, and SQL.I am a true workaholic, as is demonstrated by my ability to work 60-80 hours a week for months on end with no days off.Working in the food and retail industry for a combined 5 years has helped me hone my interpersonal skills as well as improve my ability to think on my feet.

  My day to day duties consisted primarily of processing incoming and outgoing shipments for the store as well as keeping track of all inventory in the storage areas, and reviewing inventory reports for accuracy. I would also complete ad hoc tasks to support the sales team and improve the back room efficiency.
