Experiential AI Lead and Innovation Center of Excellence• Currently serving as an evangelist and advocate for experiential AI and Machine Learning technology across Publicis Group agencies. Activities focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Diffusion Models, and Assisted Learning Models and how this technology applies within clients’ business context.• Spent the last 3 years designing and implementing a multi-tenant AI agent platform which allows for the definition and deployment of LLM-based agents independent of LLM vendor. The platform automatically manages a FIFO stack of conversation contexts per agent, the means to train and fine-tune the agent models, and provides a customizable chat interface to expose the agents to users. Platform also allows for hot-swapping of LLM vendor and context during conversations. Platform also includes integration with multiple vector databases and embedding implementations to feed AI agents with relevant information to user conversation. Embedding and vector integration is accomplished via Function Calling when using Open AI as a vendor and direct integration when using other LLM vendors. Client Engagement - Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Akron, OH• Served as lead architect and engineer for Goodyear’s three B2C e-commerce sites. Goodyear was the first tire manufacturer to sell tires directly to consumers online and as such, I was involved in designing and implementing all integration points with Goodyear internal business systems and private-cloud-based custom SAP/Hybris e-commerce platform. My team and I were responsible for bringing all three systems from proof-of-concept to production implementation (and first to market) in 2015.• The innovative platform quickly exceeded all expectations and changed the tire manufacturing industry, forcing all major tire manufacturers to follow suit. By the end of my project tenure, the site had exceeded several million visits per month and $55MM in annual revenue.• Integration APIs and endpoints included distributed order/installation/service management (2000+ corporate-owned and privately owned installers), distributed order fulfillment via national warehouse network, credit card and deferred payment gateway integration, tax processing, distributed mobile van scheduling/installation, fraud prevention, cart management, and customer PII management• Solution is idempotent and fault-tolerant with decoupled order queuing and unassisted retry processing until success acknowledgement• Site won the 2016 MITX (Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange) “Best B2C Technology” Award

• Implemented server-side process engine using Jersey (JAX-RS) to handle all REST-based service requests from mobile POS clients. Process engine allows for flexible backend service definition using JSON to describe processes. Processes are user-defined, dynamically compiled java classes loaded via a custom, database-backed classloader.• Responsible for redesign and implementation of customer data import mechanism. New process efficiently calculated deltas in the data and improved overall data import performance by more than 500%.• Designed and implemented mission-critical API which integrates both the OneView mobile POS client and the POS server with Hybris' B2C eCommerce Suite. Commercial integration solution is delivered as a custom Hybris AddOn which included a Spring-based controller extension and a custom JSP tag library.

• Sixth employee and one of the three original engineers tasked with creating WebLayers Center - a java-based, enterprise-grade SOA and IT governance solution.• Worked directly with the CTO in determining product functionality and setting technical direction for the company as a whole.• Responsible for all aspects of product architecture and much of the implementation of the entire suite of WebLayers commercial software products.• Designed and implemented WebLayers commercial product architecture which consisted of a multi-threaded, SOAP service framework upon which all server-side web services are based. Current java-based server implementation exposes approximately 600+ services via WSDL for use by cross-platform governance agents, UI, and the server itself.• Responsible for design and implementation of WebLayers multi-threaded conformance testing engine. Engine was designed for performance and scalability. Also responsible for identifying and addressing all performance and scalability issues. • Implemented Web Service Security (WS-Security) specification for SOAP-based authentication and authorization. Integrated WS-Security implementation with generic application server containers using servlet filters and JAAS API. • Designed and implemented extensible client-side framework which uses SOAP over HTTP to provide governance capabilities on vastly disparate client platforms. This java-based client framework supports approximately 25 commercially available governance agents which integrate with various target software systems running on varied hardware platforms.• Implemented SOAP Message Transmission Optimization Mechanism (MTOM) specification to optimize client transmission of large amounts of binary data from WebLayers governance agents to the WebLayers Center server.• Utilized JZOS API in IBM z/OS mainframe environment to implement mainframe-native client governance agents.

• Member of the core engineering team responsible for defining all aspects of architecture and functionality for Novell exteNd Director 5.0 - a commercial, Java-based, enterprise-class Portal and XML/Web Service Integration Suite.• Responsible for design and implementation of exteNd Director’s Portlet 1.0 portal container. This container serves as the underlying architecture for all of exteNd Director’s portal and portlet/user communication.• Responsible for API design specifications for new functionality, determining the best approach/technology, and implementing the API. New functionality often required both low-level API implementation and GUI design.• Responsible for refining the WebDAV protocol (RFC 2518) and assuring the protocol’s industry-wide platform interoperability as a member of Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) WebDAV Interoperability Group.• Designed and implemented exteNd Director’s WebDAV server which provided standard access to our underlying Content Management System.• Worked on a small design team for a Content Management System and the associated Java API for use with our portal technology. This cross-platform, cross-database Content Management System shipped with exteNd Director since version 1.0 and has been used by large organizations to manage millions of documents.• Defined Java industry standards as a member of Sun’s Java Community Process. Participated as an expert contributing member on several Java Specification Request (JSR) teams including the Portlet 1.0 Specification (JSR 168) and the Content Repository API for Java (JSR 170).• Designed and implemented exteNd Director’s original Web Service Wizard.
