I am currently a 4th year student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, actively pursuing a Major in Economics and Accounting, and a certificate in Technology Management. My strengths include strong written and verbal communication skills, leadership, teamwork, and adaptability. I have sharpened these skills through my studies, extracurricular activities and work at the Santa Barbara Polo Club’s VIP tent for Farmers and Merchants Trust Company, the oldest, continuously operating trust company in California. Being a student athlete on the UCSB Track and Cross Country teams, I have learned how to successfully balance the personal, academic, and athletic aspects of my life. I have spent multiple quarters on the UCSB Student-Athlete Honor Roll and achieved highest honors on the 2021 and 2022 Big West Commissioner's Honor Roll. My academics have flourished as I have become more proficient in problem solving, versatility and collaboration . These traits have also ensured that I succeed on the track and in other extracurricular activities, such as, placing 8th and 9th in the Big West Conference 5k and 10k respectively, and being elected as Secretary and Treasurer of UCSB’s Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Being an Economics and Accounting major, I have learned how to analyze data and work with large data sets on Excel. This has also taught me to think on my feet and identify realistic solutions involving complex data sets to better understand the role economics plays in our world. The intangibles I have developed through my academics and athletics will allow me to succeed in any role.
