Whether creating spaces in which to live, work or visit I view each project as a unique challenge and love achieving the goal of finding a unique design solution that responds to site, brief, budget and programme constraints. I find all aspects of the architectural profession interesting from masterplanning to detailing and believe strongly in a holistic approach to sustainability and environmental design.Following graduation from the Glasgow School of Art in 2007 I have been fortunate enough to work across a diverse range of sectors and developed specific expertise in hotel, leisure, student accommodation, residential, workplace and mixed use projects.In 2012 I joined Ica who are one of the UK’s leading hotel design practices and also cover the full spectrum of commercial development. As an Ica Architectural Team Leader I have recently designed and delivered various high profile projects. This has included the luxury 5 star Broadwick Hotel in Soho London, Lancashire County Cricket Clubs Hilton as part of their ambitious redevelopment of Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground, various CitizenM projects and other hotels for major brands.In my free time I enjoy property development, losing golf balls, hitting the road on my bike and running up and down touchlines while couching my sons football team.
