As an aspiring Dual Degree student at Dartmouth College and the Swedish Defense University, I have a strong background in engineering, research, and national security. This, combined with my experience, particularly with problem-solving on ships’ technical systems as a Systems Technician, and my research on national security topics, has given me a well-rounded perspective on the importance of innovation in both the civilian and defense maritime sectors. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management with a specialization in Applied Mathematics from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden. During my time at KTH, I helped co-found and was elected as Chairman of the Communications Committee and served as Head of Media for the chapter's Student Reception.Alongside my academics, I have gained experience in research, market analysis, and teaching. As a researcher at Novare Pay Consulting and Valida, I managed background checks and market research related to human capital, focusing on topics such as compensation, benefits, and retirement plans. Additionally, as an instructor at Safety & Navigationsgruppen, I teach navigation and seamanship with a strong emphasis on safety. These experiences have equipped me with strong research, analysis, and communication skills, which I am eager to apply in my future endeavors.
