I am a second-year accounting major with a concentration in data analytics at the Mitch Daniels School of Business. In both of my semesters at Purdue I have earned a spot on the Dean's list.I have been able to develop my leadership, communication, and time management skills from my time as editor-in-chief of my high school's student media and while maintaining a part-time job while on campus. As editor, I had to coordinate a staff of over 30 students to meet their individual deadlines to produce quality, entertaining, and informative content for the high school community. On campus, I must be adaptable to accommodate for a shifting work and school schedule, which I do effectively as I maintain a high GPA at school and good reputation at work.After finishing my bachelor's degree, I intend to pursue Purdue's master's in accounting program and get my CPA license. I would like to land at a medium or large sized CPA firm to have the opportunity to learn and gain experience in multiple areas of the broad accounting industry.
