I worked daily with collecting and analysing measurements, constructing and adjusting functions. Developing hybrid engines demands high technical understanding throughout the whole driveline. Maintaining old, developing new and validating software in vehicles was part of the daily job.Was responsible for creating virtual sensors, i.e. estimating temperatures of critical parts in the engine using theoretical equations. The theoretical equation was used in combination with practical simplifications to ease calibration work for other teams.

Investigated the effect of a Model Predictive Control (MPC) on air mass flow control. Controlled two cross-coupled actuators, intake valve and throttle angle. With the MPC, the actuators tended to collaborate and an optimal path and its predicted trajectory was obtained.The MPC was handwritten in Matlab/Simulink together with a basic digital twin of an SI engine.

Designed parts in CAD that were later assembled into silos, bins and dryers (agriculture field). Did also contribute to their new Plant GUI. This was done during internships between 2018 and 2020.
