Responsible for business development of IKEA Home Planner. One of IKEA:s most important sales tools and rated with the hightest service level. I'm head project manager of a delivery team of 22 people consisting of four nationalities working from different locations. Delivery includes both an in-house product in combination with a product from a third party vendor creating a complex environment.

Responsible for the release managment in a larger high-profile project. I was gaining experience and knowledge about the product, one of the clients most important sales tools. The goal was to build up the line delivery organization that would take over after the project ending. Some resources was transferred to my team, others were new recruits.

I was responsible for leading the development of a new tool where the challenge was to replace three existing systems. The goal was to; create relationships between different entities, facilitate a unified way of working, get increased quality control, and make it possible to work with only one system.The product was delivered on time and is today an important tool for the infrastructure organization.

It all started with an idea. I saw an improvement oppertunity and I soon got the possiblity to develop a small solution. I developed a custom system in Java and delivered that to the organization. I used, among others, Spring, Hibernate, AJAX JavaScript.

I worked as Infrastructure designer with the responsibility to provide a test and production environment, at the design level, for the clients products. These were to be designed and delivered considering several aspects such as security, quality, performance and cost. Techniques frequently used were consolidation, virtualization and database clustering.
