Gustav Szabo AKA Szabotage I am a British Hong Kong-based street, studio and digital artist. I have exhibited internationally in sold-out solo shows and worked on numerous collaborative, commercial, and private projects. I was the first street artist in Hong Kong to list NFTs in 2020.I am best recognised by my signature Koi fish - an iconic symbol of strength, adversity and good fortune which features frequently throughout his work. I have mastered my own visual language through the development of layered stencils, which has become my distinctive style. My style is spiced with humour, wordplay, social commentary and iconic cultural references.I have painted for the HK Walls Street Art Festival, was a finalist in the global phenomenon Secret Walls, and have given a TED X talk ‘Resilience is the Ultimate High’.
