Working in the department of Engineering at the Aviation Logistics Center for the Coast Guard researching blast media for removing Coast Guard aircraft paint.

Working as a Student at USCGA in collaboration with Old Dominion University I am building the SeaLion2 a 3U CubeSat that will use doppler shift effect with s-band radios, as system to locate radio signals, to supplement the Coast Guard rescue 21 system. The rescue 21 system provides lifesaving services to at distress mariners at the most remote and harsh climates of the Arctic. This satellite will test doppler shifting as a means of reliable connection to distress mariners. Additionally, this CubeSat will include scientific devices to measure plasma conditions in low level orbit in space. This satellite is projected to launch in the summer of 2024 with the Firefly Aerospace company.

Responsibilities include supporting potential franchisees, communicating with technical representatives, problem-solving and prototyping, performance testing, competitive audits, and direct support of non-profit and community partners. These duties require a high-level of technical skill and interpersonal communication soft skills. A range of equipment is used including Roland Solvent Printers, Epilog Laser Engravers, Embroidery, Direct-to-Garment, Heat Press, Plotter and 3D printers.
