I managed staff and players around the team. As a result, I presented and sold my ideas in an inspiring and motivated way. My vision towards success were to develop players in the game of hockey, but also as human beings, by building relationships. We reached our goal to advance in the league system after my first season, evidently for my ambitious, result orientation and persistent work style.

At the department accounts receivables, I was responsible for daily tasks in SAP, Adra match, and Excel. Additionally, I participated in the implementation of the AI system to automate the process of distributing invoices. Also, the group worked on credit assessments.

I learned to coordinate assignments within two different projects. I was in charge of hosting the game-event celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Women’s hockey team followed by a dinner party. I ensured successful marketing activities to raise awareness for the event resulting in 2500 people showed up in regard to the average of 150 people at a regular game. I developed relationships with stakeholders and companies that sponsored the event.

I worked full time for one year, and part time after as I lived in other cities. I was manager over the frozen food department for six months, which mainly included planning and scheduling purchases of groceries and managing the staff at the department. I reached the budgeted result every month despite having freezers shout down due to the warm weather, which shows my ability to work focused and handle stressful situations. I was also trusted to manage the closing shifts.

I was the first male varsity hockey player at that position in the program’s history. This position is a sign for my integrity and authentic leadership, as I am honest, respectful and trustworthy. The mission is to oversee one residence hall with a group of four coworkers and to build a community involving everyone and being available as a support system for other student.
