Responsible for finance, foreign trade, stock, and quality management.The main activities are: team building; definition of financial routines and processes (accounts payable and receivable, financial control and reports, implementation of a new data system); financial forecasting (cash flow and results); tax classification (Mercosur Common Nomenclature – MCN); price definition; import process; stock management (supply and quality control, and monitoring report).

The focus was on managing the capital allocation for the wholesale bank (IBBA) and evaluating new operations.The main activities were: team building (training and developing people); development of partnerships to seek capital efficiency; focus on profitability/value creation for IBBA operations (credit risk analysis and capital allocation); participation in senior products committee; presentations for senior financial management; credit risk capital allocation simulator for credit and treasury operations; valuation of structured operation (securitization); risk models, processes and regulatory analysis together with Internal Controls for IRB capital allocation for Agribusiness portfolio; interaction with Internal Controls to ensure the reliability of processes; dissemination of capital allocation concepts throughout lectures and courses.

The focus was on increasing Itau’s wholesale bank (IBBA) credit operations profitability and valuation of corporate non-performing loans.The main activities were: participation in product committees to ensure the correct and most effective capital allocation for credit operations structured by Investment Banking (IB) and Treasury (local and international), among others; support commercial officers in evaluating new products/operations; valuation of non-performing corporate operations in order to determine fair sales price considering accounting, taxes, capital, and legal aspects.

The focus was on studying and implementing BACEN’s Resolution 4502, which requires the Recovery Plan for large banks in Brazil.The main activities were: international benchmarks analysis; establishing specific governance; strategy definitions for increasing capital rates in hypothetical severe stress events; Recovery and Resolution Plans follow-up and validation for Itau’s international units (USA and UK).

The focus was on understanding the regulatory landscape and sharing the potential risks for the business in order to prepare the institution for the future.The main activities were: studies and impact analysis of new regulatory capital policies (Basel IV); analysis and discussions of IFRS 9 (new provisioning model for doubtful accounts); international discussions follow-up of varied regulatory matters and analysis of potential future impacts; dissemination of risk culture throughout lectures and courses.

The focus was on being a consulting team for regulatory matters regarding capital management.The main activities were: national and international discussion follow-up related to Resolution Regimes, Total loss-absorbing capacity (TLAC), Bail-in mechanism, Basel III, regulatory capital for operation in exchanges, Pilar 3 (risk disclosure), and among others; discussion and impact analysis regarding ongoing national regulatory reforms; capital allocation for credit operations; simulations comparing the standardized approach to IRB for credit risk; dissemination of risk culture throughout lectures and courses.

The objective was to develop a holistic vision and knowledge of core banking applications, through consulting projects, business courses, and coaching lessons.Trainee Program: it was a 2-step program that involves a 6-months job rotation and a year dedicated as a risk trainee in Capital Management.The 6-months job rotation involved working within the following teams: credit risk modeling, credit model validation, liquidity and market risk control, Basel project of credit risk, and credit policies. In Capital Management the focus was on regulatory studies.
