The Fundación para la Conservación Adaptativa has designed and developed the program called El Nodo. El Nodo is the entrepreneurship development initiative that seeks to turn the historic downtown of Ponce, Puerto Rico into the hub of entrepreneurial activity for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean basin. In order to accomplish this vision, our non-profit organization has taken on the mission of saving and protecting historic and iconic architectural properties through title acquisition of several key properties, restoring them and transforming their use to meet today’s and tomorrow’s needs, while looking after their proper maintenance and preservation. In addition to the properties, the initiative is working to bring true gigabit speed capability to the town square and create a two-block-radius “bubble” that allows continuous connectivity throughout the entire initiative. This will not only allow the entrepreneurial activity being developed within El Nodo to compete in the international arena but it will also attract to our city companies needing constant gigabit speeds and in doing so, creating additional jobs that complement, strengthen and support the entire community.Through our mission and the comprehensively designed entrepreneurial development programming, the Fundación will tackle three of the biggest problems that currently affect the city and region:- loss of historically and architecturally valuable properties;- economic revitalization of the zone through activity that supports and assists entrepreneurial, commercial and tourism activity, and - reversing population erosion trends through the creation of activity that draws interest and produces results, including new jobs.

--> Founded a youth-led nonprofit organization under the sponsorship of Puerto Rico’s Department of Economic Development & Commerce, Puerto Rico’s Youth Affairs Office, Puerto Rico’s Company for Commerce and Exportation, and GOYA.--> Taught basic entrepreneurial education to over 4,000 students in person and online.--> Partnered with the Alta Ventures Venture Capital Fund & their curriculum, “The Big Ideas Course”, and deployed the curriculum online.--> Registered over 50 companies under Law135.--> Became the youngest Puerto Rican to speak at a TEDx event in Kansas City on the topic of “How I Will Save My Country”

We sync our platform with curated tours & experiences accessible via a set of immersive, interactive, and bi-lingual guides available in both digital and physical mediums. We are promoting business experiences & opportunities that help each entrepreneur and startup founder or investor from around the world, transition into a new community, meet its leaders, programs, accelerators, and the parties that make thrive as a hub. In short, we connect entrepreneurs to ecosystems.

- Built Puerto Rico's First Co-Living Space with capacity for 14 Entrepreneurs - Hosted Over 30 Companies with Combined Valuation Above $3.5M+- Reached full occupancy within the first 3 months of operations. - Closed Down Operations After 1 Year Of Testing The Market Place & Model. - Featured in Puerto Rico’s Science Technology Trusts publication of “Puerto Rico Creativo”

--> Built the 23rd Registered Low Profitability Limited Liability Corporation in Puerto Rico--> Identified a total of 35 financially sustainable social impact projects and began analyzing, scraping and storing over 102 Terabytes of crucial government and island-wide data.

- 5 days after Hurricane Maria we built a team sourcing last-mile data from all 78 Mayors in the island on critical infrastructure. Island Relief team grew to almost 14 participants in 8 weeks, and runs till this day.- Shared this last mile data with over 180 Non-Profit organizations and federal agencies such as FEMA and other United Nations Associations.- Managed & Deployed Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) resilient solution to over 15 supermarkets and family businesses with the CIO of the Governor, Tactivate, Focused Mission, and ViaSat. The solution impacted 113,000+ families and processed over $4.5M since October 27th till this day.

Co-Facilitated the first round of the Hult Prize with my colleague Yulkendy Valdez.We hosted 6 teams in the competition and provided a panel of judges with a wide range of expertise.The panel was composed of:- John Harthorne - CEO of MassChallenge- Kaitlin Gastrock - VP Regional Communications of Teach for America- Barbara Heffner - Boston Director of Room to Read- Mary Gale - Professor at Babson College

- Lead a team of friends and colleagues and created an online newspaper that promoted news for all Latin Americans.- Proof read and edited news and articles in order to assure that the information was correct and that it would appeal to our readers.- Worked on strategies to obtain information faster and unbiased from all over the world, but specifically from the countries in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.- Co-managed social media websites including Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.- Consulted for the app development team. Hispano Informado's mission was to tie communities together through the use of information and social awareness campaigns. Each news was carefully drafted in order to reduce it's length and be compatible with our social media readers. Our motto was: "News must be simple, concise, and informative!"
