About Gustavo Alva

I was deeply involved in ICT Management as CIO of PROSPERA, providing technical solutions nationwide as support of our main goal: Provide support to 6.5 million Mexican families in need.My professional field can be divided in two. The first one is the technical part. I am Cybernetics and Computer Systems Enginner BSc. I am mainly experienced in software development under different technologies and methodologies. Added to this, I can also develop in industrial automation, telecomunications and other branches covered by my studies.The second one is referent to Management. I held a degree in Management of Technology MSc. I have experience in this topics that provide me the skills and knowledge to develop numeric analysis related to the management of engineering projects or finance. The combination of both parts have been proven to be strong. I certainly understand the technical part of most of the engineering projects and I also understand the perspective of the high management. Based on this, I can be a link between the two sides. As a plus, my technical skills allow me to create tools to process huge amounts of technical information to be delivered in business reports to the decision makers.
