I am a Reality Capture BIM architect and a Ph.D. candidate at the Lisbon School of Architecture at the University of Lisbon, Portugal, specializing in the digitization of buildings using laser scanning techniques and converting this data into digital BIM models (scan-to-BIM).I have a strong interest in research and have published several articles in prominent scientific journals on the topic of scan-to-BIM and integrating historical heritage buildings into BIM using 3D laser scanning processes.Currently, I am the lead Reality Capture architect at ASI 3D Imaging Services, a reality capture company based in Franklin, Tennessee, USA. I have extensive experience in the scan-to-BIM field and, in recent years, have collaborated with companies in various countries, including the United States, Canada, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, New Zealand, Mexico, and South Africa.My areas of interest include Reality Capture, 3D laser scanning, photogrammetry, point clouds, scan-to-BIM, computing, and programming.
