The Data services team is in charge of simplifying the gathering of business-relevant data across the organisation (Data collection), enforcing GDPR-compliant flows (Data governance), and making data easy to find, understand and consume by all teams (Data discovery).The team is also responsible for providing different services and internal tools to accelerate product development and decision-making (Data services) for the entire group.Tasks:- Build and manage a cross-functional team of 12 developers.- Evolve and maintain mature projects for data collection, governance and discovery: |_ One SDK (different languages) that unifies several trackers. |_ Database replication tool by capturing all the changes. |_ Generic data collector that stores frontend and backend events. |_ Web application to find, document and classify the company’s data and request access following the defined approval flows, which involves owners and data protection officers. |_ Web application to manage which data is sent to each tracker. |_ Real-time data consumption tool.- Evolve and maintain the growing projects: |_One SDK (different languages) to execute experiments, toggles, and surveys. |_Web application to operate experiments, define metrics and visualise the results. |_Web application to define and manipulate feature toggling (client-side). |_An API to split the users into different variant groups. |_An analytic engine to calculate the experiment results using statistical methods.- Development and maintenance of new initiatives: |_ Web application to define and manage user surveys. |_ Web application to define and manipulate feature toggling (real-time). |_ Web application to train, configure and deploy machine learning models. |_ Python library to track the training of the machine learning models. |_ Generic API that loads and serves key-value datasets.- Train and support teams across the organisation to integrate and use our SDKs, tools, and Web applications.
