Assigned as a policy analyst for the Director of Climate Change and Disaster Management, Office of Deputy Minister for Environment and Forestry Management. Responsible for arranging coordination between stakeholders in generating public policies, compiling resources for Deputy Minister, and supporting ongoing programs between ministries and other governmental and non-governmental bodies related to climate change, blue carbon, carbon pricing, and disaster management.

Responsible for coordinating voluntary works in generating and publishing U-Inspire Newsletter: Titik Kumpul. The newsletter contains main articles related to Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) actions and advocacies, U-Inspire Indonesia and U-Inspire Alliance Activity Highlights, Local Activity Implementation of DRR, Photo Essay, and Call-for-Action section.U-Inspire is a youth and young professionals platform in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (SETI) to accelerate the implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), inline with the Sendai Framework to support DRR policy and action at local, national, and international level.

Responsible for clients' oil and gas data management, especially physical data such as cores, well cuttings, well reports, and other exploration & exploitation documents.

Responsible as a geologist in conducting 2D geoelectric measurement at Way Apu Dam Project, Maluku. The tasks are including area reconnaissance and traverse planning, resistivity data acquisition at 20 traverses, data inversion into cross sections, and progress report generation. This work aims to calculate rock volumetric in several quarries.

Assigned as core handler in unconventional hydrocarbon exploration project by Pertamina (MNK) and Lemigas. Core samples were taken in an exploration well at North Sumatera Basin on Lower Baong Formation and Belumai Formation. Core handling and analysis are handled by PPPTMGB Lemigas to give further analysis about potential shale gas and shale oil reserves.After finishing core handling assignment, Gusti is involved in other North Sumatera Basin Joint Study as a geologist. This study aims to update the geological and geophysical understanding and to unlock the potential of hydrocarbon resources.

Involved in Delineation of Pre-Tertiary Petroleum System of North Sumatera Basin Project and Kedangpahu Field Mapping of Upper Kutai Basin. Responsible for conducting geological mapping, including traverse data and sample acquisition, processing geological and geospatial data, interpreting and analyzing sedimentology and structural data, and composing progress and final report for client.

Successfully completed East Arm of Sulawesi Carbonate Fieldwork with the main focus in carbonate facies determination, including facies mapping and potential field development related to Salodik Formation, Central Sulawesi. Responsible for doing geological mapping, including samples extraction from the field, deciding facies determination based on laboratory analysis, determining surface to subsurface correlation, analyzing reservoir quality, and giving further exploration recommendation.

Responsible in running the student chapter to improve its members' proficiency as a geologist in energy industry, connect with alumnae and professionals, and rise members' social awareness as a student in energy industry.

Conducted undergraduate thesis writing about overpressure in East Java Basin. This overpressure study was conducted to determine top and mechanism of overpressure in the field. Pore pressure determination in this study was using Eaton method based on sonic log. Based on the study, there are various depth of top overpressure depends on loading and unloading mechanism. Geological condition with high and low terrain and some structures also affected the amount of pore pressure gradient.

As a petrography assistant, responsible for giving guidance and study materials to students about sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rock features on thin sections and preparing laboratory thin sections.

As a geophysics assistant, responsible for teaching and guiding students about configurations of a geoelectrical survey, including Wenner and Schlumberger array. The other geophysical method in this laboratory is the geomagnetic method. At the end of the semester, an excursion was held using geoelectrical and geomagnetic method to analyze near-surface features and shallow aquifers.
