Worked with research and evaluation team to compose measures around a series of professional development opportunities on classroom management. Responsibilities involve working with team to create and analyze multiple data sets both for internal reporting to the Office of Specialized Services at Chicago Public Schools and for academic publications and presentations. Additionally, I am working with an undergraduate student to conceive, conduct, and disseminate a research project as fulfillment of an independent studies course.Assisted for both traditional sections of research methods (lecture based) and self directed sections (Computer Modules) of Introductory Statistics course. Responsibilities included one on one tutoring, preparing handouts, and grading objective and subjective coursework. Managed logistics for large Introductory Psychology class as well as leading lectures one or more times a week.

Taught sections of General Psychology and Abnormal Psychology

Work on program evaluation project covering district wide programming for students, teachers, and CPS staff. Includes developing quantitative and qualitative evaluation instruments, conducting onsite observations and one on one interview, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data. Independently create reports of findings for formative and summative internal reviews of programs.Later transitioned into a project evaluating the creation and implementation of a new thematic curriculum for the social sciences The projects goals is to document the fidelity of implementation and the ability of the program to be adapted to individual schools needs, based on the two high schools and 6 elementary schools in which it is being piloted in.

Two course of Research Methods in Psychology

Worked in Social Pyshcology lab investigating negotiations. Ran subsjects in online negotiation tasks and coded resulting qualitiative data.

Organized youth group and youth advisory group for large conference. Helped in conference planning and logistics. Also preparred reserach briefs on race realted issues in Chicagoland for general publication.

Managed project data sets and handled logistics for internal review board.
