Started the N50 Project - A cross-industry effort to connect and gain participation from the remaining 50% of the world that does not currently participate in the digital world. It is estimated that of the 3.9B people unconnected, 3.2B have the ability to connect but do not (GSMA, Oct 21). The N50 Project focuses on closing this usage gap by providing human-enriching applications (education, healthcare, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and more), digital literacy, and local language. All at a cost that makes sense for communities. Lead the business efforts for our incubation and emerging technologies team with Lean Start-up|Business Canvas and Zone to Win models. Experience includes work with start-up AI | CV | Deep Learning | Robotics | SW, and solutions. The team successfully launched a robotic delivery solution for one of our largest partners and successfully incubated CV | AI concept into a product.

Our team is responsible for all Visual solutions into the retail industry including signage, kiosks, autonomous vending, and autonomous stores. Run strategy, product development, and ecosystem management for >$600M in revenue. HW | SW | Support.

Led cross-functional start-up team of engineers, product and marketing to create, build, and launch the Responsive Retail Sensor (RRS) using RFID. RRS is a turnkey integrated white-box sensor the team developed from scratch. Two patents awarded, one is currently pending. Also responsible for developing and launching the Analytics Strategy for the Retail Solutions Division at Intel. Part of the Internet of Things Group. Created the Retail Analytics Community targeting over 900 technology companies providing solutions to retailers. Managed team developing in-store analytics technology solutions.

Co-founded and was executive director for non-profit for 14 years. Hired and coordinated staff of 6 and >1000 volunteers in 38 countries with >50,000 participants. Raised >$5M. Helped coordinate and build a school for 500 high school students in rural Zambia including a computer lab, classrooms, teacher and student housing. Built two medical clinics, two orphan care centers and multiple water projects. Partnered with World Vision and other large global NGOs and led multiple teams of donors through Africa. Exit included a sustainability plan with NGO.

Founded and led global marketing team working with the largest retailers in the world to solve problems with technology solutions. Over the course of 6 years, met with almost every major retailer in the world to listen to their problems and bring solutions to help solve their problems. Also launched global effort to engage reseller community of 140,000 to market and sell solutions to small and medium size retailers.

Marketed and sold Intel based storage solutions to the worlds leading storage providers. Responsible for storage companies globally and closed the largest storage deals in the company. Received Intel Achievement Award for growth to >$100M.

Adjunct Faculty member teaching Marketing 401, Buyer Behavior 463 and other Marketing courses.

Led team providing data center consulting, design, and support services for a start-up company to Fortune 500 companies throughout Southern California and Arizona.

Founded and launched an online banner company. Company disrupted brick and mortar industry with digital marketing and national distribution. Exit included the sale of the company to a national 800+ location company.

Co-Founded software distribution company as Adobe partner where we marketed and distributed 100k+ downloads of plug-in applications.

SVP Sales and Marketing for a national messaging service company (a spinoff from Nokia). Led direct sales team and distributor network of 85. Created a new start-up division pivoting core technology to new business opportunities with all major lotteries in the US.

Responsible for all P&L efforts in 3 offices for Southern California Branch of 100+ employees for start-up wireless point to point company. Restructured branch to be the top-performing branch in the company. Directed and led the efforts for strategy, real-estate acquisition, sales, customer support, etc.

Multiple leadership positions including managing key AT&T accounts, product development/launch and finally responsible for all Global Accounts in Southern California across all AT&T Product Lines. Managed branch of 65 ppl with revenues of more than $200M. Selected for Leadership Continuity Planning program.
