Hey there! 👋🏼Do you think that there's a connection between biomedical engineering and basketball? 🏀 🧬 My name is Guy, I'm 27 years old, and currently I’m a forth year biomedical engineering student in Tel Aviv university. Driven by my passion for improving people's lives, I major in signal processing and tissue engineering, as I believe these areas hold immense potential for transforming the medical device field and healthcare landscape. In parallel with my academic studies, I bring a unique background as a professional basketball player for the past 10 years. I have competed in all first three divisions and was team captain multiple times. The experiences that I have gained during my career as a pro athlete has instilled in me values of dedication to my work, leadership and habits of thriving in high-pressure environments.Being a basketball player made me appreciate small details and data: analyzing after games how much did I contribute to my team, what were my shooting percentages, learning my opponents weaknesses and more.
