My role and responsibilities :As the Human Resources and Admin Manager, I’m responsible of leading the HR Function in the DRC Country Office, entailing five (5) offices: the National Office (Goma) and four (4) field offices . I’m accountable for implementing HR services that enhance the capacity of staff to deliver on business goals and objectives under an exciting life cycle approach to programming, in which it is expected that HR management is effective and transparent; staff competencies are continuously improving; duty of care and core values are well established.I have the responsible for regularly supporting senior management in policy direction and design; develop original and innovative means in all aspects of HR management and tackle highly complex HR matters. I’m also responsible for planning, organizing and supervising a team of Admin & HR staff.

Duties and responsibilities: As the Head of Human Resources & Operations department, I was the primarily accountable for the direction and management of the operations at the Country level (Management of the HR, Admin, Logistics, Safety & Security, ICT and Fleet) to ensure effective and efficient systems for harmonization, compliance to financial and administrative procedures, planning and implementation of adequate security precautions. I have ensured that the projects carried out will receive adequate support for implementation and held accountable relationships with the leaders/representatives, relevant governmental authorities, lawyer, national and international NGOs and UN agencies.I have contributed to the design and implementation of the country strategy, and I was active in high level and strategic decision-making and representation for the country office, collaborating closely with the Country Director and other SMT Members. Other : - Acted for several times as the DRC Country Director ; - Active participation in the preparation of annual reports and global strategies; - Held several SMT & staff meetings; - Participated in several cluster meetings (UN inter-agency/NGO) and meetings of heads of mission.

Key Responsibilities:As an HR Manager, I was responsible for ensuring that HR functions are carried out effectively throughout the province, in order to achieve the objectives of the organization. I was responsible for ensuring that each manager in the area of operation can benefit from the HR department, the appropriate strategic and operational support. I was focused and ensured adherence to IRC HR procedures and guidelines. I contributed to the development of national strategies which are translated into action plans and daily tasks. I provided technical support and/or advice to national operations while overseeing national activities, through: • The HR Policies & Orientation management • The Contracts and compensation management • The Staff Wellbeing at work management • The Staff Performance and Development management • The HR planning• The Recruitments and selection• The Management & Coordination.

Key Responsibilities:As the Operations Manager and Head of office I was a key member of the Management Team at country level. Under the authority of the Country Representative, I was responsible for supply chain management intended to program implementation, as well as for logistical transversal management such as fleet, fuel, premises, assets & communication management. I ensured compliance of all logistics operations in country with the AMT logistics & donors’ procedures, best practices & national regulations, with an emphasis given to the value for money principle. I led, provided technical support and capacity building to the country HR, Admin, Finance & logistics staff.
