Performs safety and environmental inspections of known or conventional and non-conventional oil, gas, and other mineral facilities and operations in the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS). Serves on accident investigations and compliance reviews.Major Duties:-Independently conducts inspections involving any of the full range of activities such as drilling, workover/completion, production, and decommissioning, including those facilities with known safety and environmental problems or hazards.-Enforces and promotes compliance with safety and environmental requirements for a wide variety of drilling, production, workover/completion, decommissioning, facilities, operations, problems, or issues that regularly involve unique safety and environmental problems requiring new, modified, or innovative inspection and enforcement procedures due to the introduction of new/advanced systems.-Regularly serves as Lead Inspector in the inspection of the full range of facilities, complexes, and operations typically found offshore, including those with known or established safety and environmental practices.-Coordinates with senior employees on planning and scheduling inspections of the full range of major and minor offshore facilities typically encountered in the GOM OCS Region, especially those that have a persistent record of safety violations.-Investigates major accidents/incidents and/or reports of violations to regulations involving major and minor offshore facilities and operations where issues are generally unprecedented and require examination of numerous factors and conditions (e.g., explosions, fires, threats to life, safety, or the environment).-Keeps up-to-date and advises other inspectors and operators on the latest developments in the safety/ environmental arena, including Federal laws, regulations, new technology, and unusual problems in the field.

Perform various audits on client facilities in order to: • Eliminate/control hazardous conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations that may lead to injury and/or property damage• Promote safety awareness and a safe working culture• Maintains compliance with Federal, State and local regulations• Provides regulatory advice to Petroleum leadership, as requested.• Ensures compliance with all Corporate and Petroleum Management Standards,Controls and Procedures.• Conduct employee audits to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines• Participate in periodic regulatory reviews and audits to verify compliance andreport on current status/gaps.• •Conduct SEMS audits as requested to ensure all aspects of the SEMS program are being effectively utilized• NDT-Technician-Using state of the art equipment, finds and reports fugitive gas leaks and damaged electrical systems. Non-destructive testing (NDT) analysis techniques used in science and industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component or system without causing damage.

• Assures compliance with company health, safety, and environmental issues at assigned platforms• Eliminate/control hazardous conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations that may lead to injury and/or property damage• Promote safety awareness and a safe working culture• Maintains compliance with Federal, State and local regulations• Provides regulatory advice to Petroleum leadership, as requested.• Ensures compliance with all Corporate and Petroleum Management Standards, Controls and Procedures.• Conduct on site accident investigations to determine root causes for accidents• Report incidents related to employees or property to Corporate HR and Safety• Conduct employee audits to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines• Participate in periodic regulatory reviews and audits to verify compliance andreport on current status/gaps.• Reviews all regulatory Notifications to Lessees to ensure familiarity with changes that will or may potentially impact the operating asset.• Represents the production unit in key regulatory stakeholder meetings, including meetings with government agencies, local content committees, non-governmental organizations and communities to ensure alignment of project and operational objectives.• Maintain appropriate files relating to regulatory activities and submitting in an organized, accessible format.

-Performs inspections of oil and gas facilities to ensure safety of operations and personnel.-Identifies deficiencies or violations of environmental and safety laws and regulations.-Writes reports of operations findings, and Letters of Deficiency.

-Maintains oil and gas production on off shore platform. -Performs BSEE testing on safety systems.-Maintains BSEE paperwork.-Ensures that production procedures are in safety compliance ranges, and maximizes production.

-Information Management Officer one and a half years in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.-Repairs networks, troubleshoots computer issues, works as a systems administrator at the local level.-Communicates with network administrators to resolve local network issues.Past Duty Position: -Tasking NCO-Ensures that tasking from central tasking are distributed to lower units.-Attend meeting to insure communications are not missed.-Deploy soldiers and civilians in a timely manner.Prior MOS-11M-Infantry.
