Following a career on the client side initially in sales - but mostly in marketing management, I moved to the dark side with my first job in agency, winning the national launch of Microsoft's Word for Windows in my first few months as an account executive. Within a few years I moved into a self employed consulting role with the Sydney Swans as my main client, drawing on my experience as inaugural marketing director of the West Coast Eagles.In 1994 I jointly founded mobius Marketing & Design Consultants Pty. Ltd - the basic premise being we applied marketing strategy and deep insights into the design process to build and deliver long term brand value. Today this seems self evident, but at the time was not as widely practised.Business was brisk from day one and we enjoyed ongoing success with clients across FMCG, Automotive, Real Estate, Leisure, IT and Professional Services. Brands included Castrol, Gillette, Braun, Oral B, Kelloggs, Yates, Duracell, Pfizer, Chubb, Nutrimetics, IAMS, Sydney Swans, Eukanuba, WT and Stockland to name a few.We are particularly proud of our association with Castrol that commenced in 1996 with our work on the iconic GTX brand and has flourished ever since - with us also winning global projects along the way.Just as importantly is our team, many who have been with us for over ten years, with two having been a part of mobius for over twenty years.We never take anything for granted. Our philosophy has always been - you are only as good as your last job, no matter who the client or the size of the job.
