During the refurbishment of Francis units sized between 50 and 150 MW:• Followed the daily activities at site: o Validated that the work was done according to contracts, drawings and procedures o Visually inspected some components and wrote recommendation based on the observations made o Guided the millwrights during the reassembly, including during one shaft line o Supervised handling operations• Wrote procedures as required, those were: o One disassembly and one reassembly procedures, including QA/QC record sheet o A purchase specification for a new rotor spider o A paint specification

Wells Dam contract value is above 100 M $, it covers the refurbishment of 10 Turbine/Generator groups. The stators are replaced, the rest is refurbished.As the project coordinator I had to:- Coordinate efforts to improve the technical documentation for future units. Most of that work was done by an engineering firm (LDV).- Followed technical activities on the current unit.- Communicated to the client, the engineering advancement for the current unit as well as the documentation improvement work done for future units.- Ensured communications between the various protagonist:o Toshiba America Energy Systemo Toshiba Japano LDV (Engineering firm for TAES)o Stantec (Enginering firm for the client)o DCPUD (Client)o Subcontractors (Shop as well as site subcontractors)- Reviewed some documents revised by an engineering firm (LDV) and others prepared by Toshiba’s engineering.- Wrote some documents for the current unit:o Non-conformity reporto Certification for reuse, which are recommendation report following components inspection- Supported site technically

Designed generator mechanical components for USA refurbishment contracts and followed up of the manufacturing and site assembly. Contracts description:- Castaic: Contract worth of over 10 millions, includes new rotor, stator, generator shaft, injectors and Pelton turbine. Unit power of approximately 50 MW. Located near Los Angeles, California.- Wanapum: Contract worth of over 100 millions for the supply of 10 new rotors, stators, generator shafts and the refurbishment of the other generator components.Unit power of approximately 100 MW each. Located near Vantage, Washington state.
