For the past fifteen years Guy Blume has fostered the development of his brand through the filter of his Buddhist studies and practice that infuses his many creative endeavors; interior design, gardens, ikebana and furniture design. Schooled in both modernism and French Classicism, tranquility and beauty are the hallmarks of Guy's style. Guy Blume's love for design extends beyond interiors to gardens. Creating spaces where indoor living expands to blend with outdoor spaces is a particular passion of his. His impressive portfolio of gardens include a contemplative Zen garden, drought tolerant landscapes, and an urban farm complete with a fruit orchard. Greater Los Angeles Area

As the Design Director at Addis English and DDC, I worked principally on designing a prototype for a series of business hotels to be built across Europe, based on the loft concept. Other projects included the interiors for a active living center for seniors, and various residential projects. I was also in charge of marketing which included a quarterly newsletter.

Greater Los Angeles Area

Worked with Douglas Koleman on various residential and garden design projects. Projects included an 8,000 square foot mansion in Pasadena and a garden for a new residence in Venice.

As Director of Operations for Project Angel Food I oversaw the daily production and delivery of hot and frozen meals to people living with AIDS around the greater Los Angeles area. The delivery area encompassed over square miles and up to 1600 meals a day. I had 60 employees under my supervision.
