• As a member of one of the most pre-eminent sets of criminal chambers in the country, I act as leading or junior counsel in substantial fraud cases – and have done so for the past 10 years.• I frequently advise instructing solicitors in relation to strategy long before legal proceedings are instigated. Thereafter I have acted as counsel in the event that the need has arisen.• My role has not only seen me present cases in court, but also in an advisory role. This may relate to the obtaining and deployment of evidence of all types – often according to strict timetables, ensuring thorough preparation at short notice, and necessary delegation of tasks to either junior counsel or instructing solicitors.• I pride myself on providing thorough and clear advice to both individuals and corporate bodies. The often-changing dynamics of a criminal trial have seen this skill tested and honed over the past 20 years.• I have been instructed by some of the top-ranked firms dealing with serious fraud, crime and regulatory law. • Currently instructed as one of the junior counsel to the Dame Linda Dobbs Review, a review into whether Lloyds Banking Group investigated and appropriately reported issues arising from the HBOS Reading Fraud following their acquisition of HBOS in 2009. This review involved the analysis of over 300k documents. Counsel worked in multiple teams across the review, with a particular specialism in the analysis of limited waiver documents for presentation before and review by Dame Linda Dobbs.• I have regularly represented members of the Prison Officers Association, police staff and healthcare professionals at inquests held investigating deaths occurring in custody.
