This required annual audits and training sessions at each facility that encompassed working closely with the senior management as well as the hourly production employees at each site. I reported all significant environmental and safety issues to the corporate Quality Assurance Manager as well as to the senior V.P. at each location. Another requirement of my position was to oversee all new facility expansion/construction and plant layout. Accomplishments: - Created Altec’s LIFT program (Leadership, Initiative, and Functional Training).- Designed and administered Altec-Creedmoor Orientation Program.- Specified and managed construction of 10,000 sq.ft. Parts Distribution Center. Cost: $375,000- Designed and managed construction of Closed Loop H2O Recycling operation. Cost: $110,000- Created Environmental / Safety Department and Training Program in Creedmoor.- Completed and obtained EPA Title V Air Permits for NC, NY and FL facilities.- Never experienced an OSHA violation or penalty at the Creedmoor facility.
