Portfolio Manager
CurrentAs the Portfolio Manager for the Scranton market, I actively engage with 100+ clients regarding current business practices, assess accounts for strategic growth opportunities, and provide options and insight to mitigate risk. Serving as a floor plan subject matter expert I analyze my client’s financial information, inventory, and goals. This allows me to assist my clients and Nextgear in achieving desired results. My position also requires that I focus on risk along with strategic growth. Having constant contact with my clients and assessing reports allows me to not only successfully manage financial risk for each account, but also to develop and execute exit strategies that mitigate loss to the company when required. I complete collection efforts when an account has defaulted, and continue my efforts long after to help minimize our loss. I use Salesforce daily to log my calls and my face-to-face meetings with clients to ensure all interactions are documented. Notable Accomplishments: -3 million in AR transferred from my market to surrounding markets in 2022 & 2023 due to continued growth. -2022 Presidents Club Award Winner. -Finished 2022 Ranked #2 in the entire company for profitability and grew my market by $2,386,390.-Currently achieving 118% to my profitability goal in 2024 with zero defaults. -Market leader in my role asked to cover other markets while counterparts are on leave and help guide all new team members through challenges they face.-Asked to oversee the North Atlantic region and review approvals while my Director is out of office.-Mentoring new PM taking over the Baltimore North Market.
