I am the firm’s senior partner in the Tampa office. I have over 40 years of trial experience with over 100 trials in State and Federal Courts, as well as dozens of trials conducted before arbitration panels. I primarily represents plaintiffs in complex commercial, financial malpractice and consumer fraud litigation and in class actions, generally on a contingency fee basis. I also represents defendants in selected complex commercial disputes. I have successfully represented plaintiffs in numerous disputes against brokerage firms, investment advisers, insurance companies, law firms, accounting firms and other corporate and financial institutions. Over the course of my career, I have recovered hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of numerous individual clients and class action plaintiffs. I have been listed for many years as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” for commercial litigation, and am regularly named to the lists of “Florida’s Legal Elite” and “Bet the Company Trial Lawyers”. For 2013, I was named by Best Lawyers in America as “Lawyer of the Year” in the category of Banking and Financial Litigation. I have also been named as 2014 “Lawyer of the Year” for Securities Litigation.
