Joined PHS after completing a successful, 10 hospital upgrade as Project Manager for Advantel Networks. Prime Healthcare is the 5th largest healthcare provider in the nation with 45 hospitals in 15 states and almost 300 clinics. • Built Operations Center/Help Desk in India from the ground up, recruited and hired 20+ persons.• Hired team of former Tier 3, Tier 4 Avaya engineers that I currently manage. Created project dashboard for tracking project resources and task management of ongoing upgrades at PHS’s hospitals & clinics.• Responsible for all aspects of telecommunications onshore and offshore across the enterprise including project management of system installs, forecasting, staffing and 1 manager and a total of 26 direct reports.• Developed new processes for: implementations, service requests, documentation of change control, multi-level outage notifications, incident reports, SLAs, RCAs and maintenance routines.• Direct day to day operation of telecom activity for enterprise, including: system installs, audits, contracts, vendor management of wired/wireless carrier services, hardware, nurse call, contact centers, and EPIC integrated appointment reminder system, a system my team built from scratch. • Implemented fundamental change to the management and operational support of the PHS telecommunications infrastructure. • Saved company a verified $1.7 MM in 2018 and $2.2 MM in 2017 in overall telecom expenses by optimizing contracts, services and self-auditing processes.

Joined Advantel as an Avaya certified resource after supporting several healthcare and government projects as a contractor which included the winning RFP for Fairchild AFB. Project Managed several major accounts for this platinum level Avaya - authorized business partner and reseller. Major accomplishments included:• Prime Healthcare: Chosen to manage this major new account for upgrades to ten hospital locations in California, Texas and Rhode Island. Met with executive leadership at Prime Healthcare, developed a program to accomplish their goals, project managed teams at each of the client’s locations and accomplished this on time and on budget.• Union Bank: Project managed the upgrade of their 300+ locations. Through my leadership and management of the project, restored this customer’s trust and continued loyalty to Advantel.• County of Alameda: Managed and developed a plan of action for implementing ongoing projects at multiple locations. Including developing a call center with live communications in multiple languages, a system-wide platform upgrade and a system for the break down and installation of telecommunications equipment to be re-purposed for other projects. • Oroville Hospital: Brought in for hospital communications upgrade and expansion into new clinics. Immediately began working to turn around a formerly demanding relationship, then began collaborating at an improved level with overall success.
