Following the company’s acquisition by Southern Cross Media, I was asked to remain in my role and my portfolio was broadened to include additional creative content responsibilities.I currently lead creative content development, programming and brand integration functions for Australia’s largest media company, Southern Cross Austereo. I serve as a member of executive, management and leadership teams, developing and executing the company’s content strategy.My role is focused on operational leadership and on brand integration efforts in support of sales and business development. My team leverages engaging content and works to integrate brands into everyday programming as part of one-off adverts on long-term placement campaigns.I lead the company’s research division, establishing new opportunities for advertisers and commercial partners across all radio content and digital media operations. While in the role, I have consistently produced strong commercial results, leveraging relationships with high-value advertisers and developing unique and innovative brand integration strategies.

In 2009, I was promoted to the role of CEO and was given responsibility for running a publicly listed company, including commercial operations, ratings and revenue, sales and content, and resource management across a multidisciplinary broadcasting team.While in the role, I led the successful development and implementation of a digital strategy, growing the company’s digital capability from four staff to more than 30 during my time in the role. Significantly expanding the company’s digital publishing capacity, I lead positioning of the company’s as the #14 digital content producer in Australia. I coordinated content development and established long-term strategic plans for content, advertising, brand integration, lead generation and business development across the business. I was later appointed Head of Metro when the company was acquired by Southern Cross Media though my responsibilities remained the same.
