I am currently responsible for coordinating and managing hydrology work within Natural Power. This involves managing ES and EIA work, as well as facilitating the discharge of planning conditions through the production of private water supply risk assessments, flood risk management plans, and watercourse surveys. Managing numerous hydrology projects involving routinely water quality monitoring work, developing relationships with a range of contractors, statutory bodies and clients.

• Site work/ surveys: assisting the EA on-site inspections; sediment and water quality sampling and monitoring • Data input and management: into Action Plan databases, processing inspection/ monitoring data • Production of documentation: writing up site notes, draft reports and contributing towards training materials • Liaising between British Waterways environmental team and other regional and disciplinary departments

• Flood mitigation modelling assessing the effectiveness of flood alleviation measures• Contributing towards EIA’s for proposed developments including dam maintenance, resource extraction and catchment restoration
