A 12 month internship working in the Flight Loads and Model Build teams within the Flight Physics domain. Successfully developed a 2-dimensional Uncertainty Quantification and Management program analysing correlated wing bending and torque loads for A350 design loads setting. Enjoyed putting theory learned at University into practice in a work environment while further improving my understanding of loads and aeroelastics. Quickly learned the in-house manoeuvre and gust loads tools to become a valuable addition to the A320neo calculation team. Worked independently using knowledge gained to devise an uncertainty management process for the A330 Beluga program and others in the future. Engaged with people throughout the company in organising team building events, in particular introducing 15 people to my own interest of gliding.

Strong interpersonal skills allowed me to develop a good rapport with aircrew and passengers enhancing their experience as customers.Co-ordinated and supervised safety critical fueling operations, duties requiring attention to detail and maturity.Became an intrinsic part of the company during high turnover periods of the year, handling up to 90 movements per day over a wide range of aircraft types.Displayed leadership by training new employees and work experience students from local schools.The customer service skills I developed resulted in being given the responsibility of representing Island Air at Le Bourget (2011) and Farnborough (2012) International Air Shows and Oshkosh EAA AirVenture 2012.A member of the Island Air team which was voted the best FBO in the Caribbean for 2011.
