Neotork is a ground breaking drilling tool developed to be integrated in to the drilling Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA). Its unique cable mechanism enables it to immediately respond to unplanned forces caused by the drillbit rock interaction. Neotorks unmatched ability to respond to harsh drilling dynamics allows it to suppress Axial, Low Frequency Torsional Oscillations (Stick-Slip), High Frequency Torsional Oscillations (HFTO) better than any other. This enables faster, cleaner and better wellbores to be drilled.My role has been to introduce, develop and grow neotork in the North America market.

My role was to connect value across two of Weatherford’s most successful product lines. • Rig Integration of both MPD equipment and mechanization and tubular handling equipment on rigs, was central in a vision to bring best-in-class technology to rigs in preparation for the safest possible means of drilling and completing wells to maintain the best possible level of well integrity through the life of the well.• Development and commercialization of software that would allow semi-automated drilling response to dynamic situations while navigating through tight pore pressure and fracture gradient windows, providing well integrity while drilling.• Created an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) with post sales Service and after-market sales business to create new revenue pipelines for both Product Lines.

Primary focus was on introducing MPD technology as the "New Drilling Convention" to every facet of the drilling industry from Land to Ultra-Deepwater. Focusing on the high risk Deepwater sector my responsibility was the creation of a commercialized Deepwater MPD offering which would be relevant to all existing rigs, through rig retrofit or collaborating with the ship designers to fully integrate a certified best-in-class MPD system into the design, at a pre-built stage.

The Weatherford Drilling Optimization Services group includes Secure Drilling Services (MPD, UBD & AD), Well Engineering & Optimization, TRS and DwC. Improving best drilling practices by introducing and/or developing innovative technologies to the drilling industry, mostly revolved around Closed Loop Drilling (CLD). Collaborating with the drilling contractors and E&P operating companies to permanently integrate key equipment into their rigs to improve safety and capital efficiency. Permanent installation enabled safely handling gas in the riser while also providing the option of plug and play Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) equipment when required.
