1st Publication, First Author on an article in the journal "Magnetic Resonance in Chemistry, Volume 27, 496-505 (1989)", with the topic concerning the Solution Conformation of an Anti-Tumor Pentapeptide, PTP5, that is a fragment of the macroprotein molecule Thymopentin an Anti-Tumor active molecule. The title of the article is “Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Study of the Biologically Active Peptide Analog [Pro2] Thymopentin”.2nd Publication dealt with work on the International Space Station. I was one of many authors that developed techniques to characterize air and water waste streams from the Mir Space Station, Shuttle Space Lab Missions and Space Station test beds. I developed a method of calculating the percent of the Inorganic loading from the test samples based on the Conductivity of the sample. Our laboratory characterized most waste streams to 90-95% Organic and 85-90% Inorganic constituents.3rd Publication dealt with work on the International Space Station. I was one of many authors that helped develop and test the Environmental Control and Life Support Systems, (ECLSS) on the Space Station.
