• Main role as Glazing Lead Engineer on the Jaguar I-Pace electric vehicle, responsible for delivering all aspects of model year changes for a set of body engineering commodities. Collaborated with several global tier 1 suppliers and led a cross-functional team to resolve technical issues and achieve production capable and compliant parts within stringent time and cost constraints.• Served as departmental liaison to international programmes, predominantly China-based production, gaining a unique insight into different cultures and business practices while working closely with the Chinese team to resolve any issues that couldn't be solved locally, e.g. releasing unique parts to meet strict Chinese legislation.• Managed three pre-development research projects; engaged with suppliers to produce design prototypes, coordinated extensive testing to assess capability and feasibility, and demonstrated prototypes to senior stakeholders including the Director of Engineering.• Analysed the department’s warranty claim data to highlight the most serious issues requiring urgent improvement and presented results to senior managers to minimise financial loss and customer dissatisfaction.• Oversaw all 'Total Value Management' activity in my department by identifying and implementing various cost-saving projects and achieved the department’s yearly cost reduction target of £1.3m four months early.
