Educated to Masters Degree level, I have over 30 years experience of delivering leadership, management, coaching and education across both the military and civilian maritime sectors. I am able to strategically analyse a situation and discern the most effective solution to avoid or minimise any potential negatives. Budgetary experience has been developed and honed over a number of years when managing various projects, both civilian and military, ensuring they were delivered on time and on budget. A confident yet relaxed man-manager with a wide range of inter-personnel, coaching, mentoring as well as communication skills (both written and oral), that have been developed and honed by responsibilities undertaken as a University Lecturer and in the Royal Navy. This would include the absolute necessity to develop and maintain a two-way respect whilst delivering leadership and coaching duties. The ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions and work to a deadline has been paramount in all my employment to date.
