Initial volunteer member who became Director of Operations where I have: Created and developed internal operational procedures to manage people, grants and events effectively, Strategic Business Development Partnership- Formed 5 new partnerships which have resulted in $100,000 + in funds being donated directly wounded vet grants.

Directly responsible for overseeing activities of 22 Special Warfare instructors and 650 students annually; this included managing extremely high risk training evolutions. Directed and managed all operations of the department: staffing, financial budgets, logistics, administration, provided leadership direction and mentoring to students, developed program controls and systems, identified and corrected problems, ensured program objectives and goals were met or exceeded. For example, helped redeveloped the two initial phases of the Special Operator training pipeline. Created a new physical preparation training course and restructured the BUD/S orientation phase curriculum which resulted in a 20% increase of students.

Directly responsible for supervising, managing training schedules and insuring the combat readiness of combatant Special Warfare platoons and leading operators in support of “Operation Iraqi Freedom” and “Operation Enduring Freedom”. Results: Ensured mission successes for three separate operational units.• Commanded an Advance Special Operations detachment, efficiently planned and executed three major operations while in theater. Result: The enemy’s terrorist network within the team’s area of operations was significantly reduced. Awarded Navy Commendation Medal with Combat “V” for valor.• Chosen to serve as Assistant Officer-in-Charge of a Special Missions Unit deployed to Afghanistan. Critical to the unit’s flawless execution of over 30 overt, tactical and highly sensitive operations. Result: Significant disruption of insurgent operations. Awarded Meritorious Service Medal.
