Passionate about two ends of the spectrum; I love sport and learning about the body as well as the IT/Business side of life. I completed my Bachelor of Exercise Sports Science in 2014 and then went on to complete my Masters of Computer Science. My interest in Business and IT started in 2009 towards the end of my schooling, and whilst I studied I began working at Alchemex in 2011. Alchemex's ethose is "Business Intelligence. Simply." and that is what we do. We distribute products that cover many aspects of Business Intelligence, including Reporting, Forecasting, Dashboarding and Connecting information. We also create custom software solutions for businesses. In 2017 I began consulting for PlayWize and in 2018 I was appointed Chief Technology Officer. PlayWize focuses on empowering athletes through opportunity and teams through digital transformation. Being able to apply technology to the sport I love is very rewarding. While enjoying my studying and work, I have also been playing professional Rugby since 2014. My original post saw me move to Perth and play for the Western Force in the Super Rugby Competition for two seasons, followed by two seasons at the Pulse Energy Highlanders in New Zealand. I have also played for the Southland Stags in the NZ Mitre 10 Cup and the Western Sydney Rams in the Australian NRC. In 2018 I began playing for Biarritz Olympique in the French Top 14 competition, with my contract continuing until 2024. I have also enjoyed rugby coaching, making my debut in 2012 for the Western Sydney Zone Champions and went on to coach the Junior Sydney Rams in 2014.My experiences in sport such as teamwork, coaching and traveling have been invaluable. However I am well aware that playing rugby will not last forever and therefore I am continually open to opportunities in order to gain further knowledge and experiences.
