CONTRACT SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Assumed all responsibilities of the senior electrical engineer. Responsible for completing the remaining 75% of a $500 million iron ore pellet plant. Successfully managed the completion of the project while overcoming strict deadlines and budgetary constraints. Despite overwhelming technical challenges and equipment delivery delays, efficiently redirected manpower and resources to align the successful completion of the plant two months prior to projected startup.Took the lead role in commissioning 90 percent of the plants nearly 500 motorsTuned and calibrated all fan and furnace damper actuators.Managed over 200 electricians and a dozen supervisors and lead men.Commissioned all switchgear and 17 MCC’sCommissioned all medium voltage motors ranging from 700-5000 HPProgrammed, networked and commissioned 125 Allen Bradley 755 VFD’s from fractional to 400HP.Commissioned and debugged 49 PLC panels with over 7000 I/O

Electrical project Manger / electrical engineer on a $25 million debottlenecking project. Installed 14 pumps, one 36"cone crusher, 12 new conveyors, 25 magnetic separators, 27 pumps ranging 5kw-315kw, 3 vibrating screens, 5 stack sizers , a correction capacitor system for the entire plant and a new pump house MCC necessary to double the volume of raw water entering the plant. My main responsibilities for this project included the purchase and installation of all electrical equipment associated with the upgrade as well as the start-up and commissioning with written operating procedures of all new equipment. I was responsible for hiring local Norwegian and Swedish electricians and managed all craftsman activities and schedules. I ordered all parts and materials, engineered all electrical installations according to Norwegian code, drew all new prints and updated all existing prints on Autocad. Additional duties included installation and calibration of density, flow, pressure, and nuclear weightometers. Within a very short time of arriving in Kirkenes I quickly became the lead troubleshooter of all complex electrical problems in the entire plant and helped train plant personnel how to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot anything electrical to help optimize plant up time.
