I run a busy practice on The South Coast of England where we specialise in working through childhood trauma, providing a therapeutic approach to the treatment of depression and anxiety, repairing family breakdown, recovery from drug and alcohol misuse and supporting adolescents develop life skills. I am also the lead practitioner at a mainstream state secondary school in London where I coordinate and direct therapeutic interventions in multicultural settings by providing, quick, cost effective, therapy that has been shown conclusively to improve their attendance and attitude to learning where other services have failed.School based services I currently provide include: Cost effective coordination and delivery of therapeutic input for hard to reach students and families Staff supervision, support and training in group and on a one to one basis Identifying and addressing failing systems with training and documentation Skilled management of time consuming cases, with multi-agency involvement, which otherwise would occupy teaching staff Developing networks and accessing free services for students I work closely with senior leaders, CAMHS, and other agencies It is understood that I will take action immediately.I have additional training in Family Therapy and Group Work, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Addictions Therapy, Safeguarding protocols and Solution Focused Therapy.
