Origination, analysis, execution and oversight of energy and infrastructure related investments all across the capital stack; predominantly focused on OECD opportunities.

* Key stakeholder in the investment, divestment and financing decision making process for the Australian business.* Assisting in the development and maintenance of financial models to allow the timely and accurate analysis of numerous business scenarios and opportunities and reporting of analysis to management and the Board.* Organised various wind resource assessment reports and technical due diligence reports for wind farm financing / asset sales scenarios, both under development and post construction.* Key team member in discussions with financiers, potential joint venture partners and parties interested in purchasing assets (multiple A$100m+ transactions) in order to recapitalise the business.

* Preparation and regular review of annual budgets, forward asset plans and programs necessary to keep management and the Board informed of progress in relation to shareholder returns and the company’s strategic agenda.* Providing clear and concise analysis of operational performance, and setting up systems and developing teams that could facilitate same, to assist in management, Board and ASX reporting.* Led the creation, staffing and management of a new team with ultimate oversight over 8 staff and successful transition of the team post the implementation into the broader asset management function. Involved recruiting a graduate level team to perform 24 x 7 monitoring of the Australian wind farms (via shift work) and provide physical market operations and operational performance analytics services to the wider business. Transition of the function to the broader asset management team required recruiting a dedicated manager and integrating the team into new functional reporting lines.* Led the technical due diligence program and discussions with financiers in regards to same for a $50m, non-recourse project financing facility for the Woodlawn wind farm on a merchant basis.* Developing systems and subsequently managing and presenting the whole of life annual performance review of assets (incorporating a review of actual and projected performance against base case expectations) to the executive management team and the board.

* Assisting in the preparation of sell side operational due diligence reports and information memorandums to assist in the sale of large wind portfolios in Spain, Portugal, France, Germany and the attempted sale of a large US portfolio. Assisting bidders, financiers and investment banks to understand the operational asset management process & capabilities included within the respective sale programs and the historical performance of the assets.

* Instigating daily and weekly reporting channels to analyse the commodities important to Babcock & Brown Environmental Investments.* Developing and maintaining financial models to allow the timely and accurate analysis of numerous business scenarios and opportunities.* Developing and maintaining adequate and timely reports to allow the accurate analysis of hedging opportunities.* Determining business contribution levels during periods of margin squeeze and analysing, formulating and helping to execute strategies to mitigate business margin pressure.* Writing various strategy position papers and presenting same at board meetings.* Developing frameworks and analysis methodologies to determine acquisition pricing levels.

Corporate Restructuring* I worked on all forms of formal insolvency appointments including Receiverships, Voluntary Administrations, Official Liquidations and Members’ Voluntary Liquidations, with considerable experience in the construction industry.* Project management of the completion of as partly completed apartment building and the subsequent sale of apartments on an individual basis on behalf of the Receiver & Manager of the development company.* Trading on various businesses, including preparation of cash flows and security positions.
