Guy Pigden is a Writer/Director/Editor of three narrative feature films. I Survived A Zombie Holocaust, Older and Glimpses. As a digital content provider he has been creating web series, sketches and short films for over 15 years through Pigville Productions, it's YouTube channel has over 10 million views and 50,000 subscribers. He currently tailors and produces video podcasting solutions for community leaders and educators as one-half of Campfire Studios. His first feature film I Survived A Zombie Holocaust (funded by the NZFC), which he wrote and directed, enjoyed a successful festival run and premiered at three of the top ten horror festivals in the world. The film has received exceedingly positive reviews abroad and was included in the top ten genre films of 2014 by popular U.K. film site ‘Nerdly'. I Survived a Zombie Holocaust won the Independent Spirit Award at Sydney's Night of Horror International Film Festival. It was released 2015 in New Zealand, Australia, Germany, U.K and the U.S in Cinemas, on DVD and VOD through Vendetta films and The Orchard. Guys second feature film 'Older' distributed by Indie Rights it is currently available through Amazon Prime video, Tubi and Google Play. The film has been streamed over a million times worldwide and recently won best Oceanian Actor at the 2022 Septimius Awards in Amsterdam. His latest work is the Documentary feature ‘Glimpses’ exploring the effects of M.S.A(Multiple System Atrophy) as seen through the prism of someone suffering from the illness. The film recently won exceptional merit at the Documentaries without Borders film festival and the Silver Award at the Spotlight Documentary film Awards. Guy has worked for multiple production companies and has developed treatments and screenplays for television and film with Tom Hern (Four Knights Films), Vanessa Alexander (Collective Vision), Robin Scholes and Karl Zohrab (Eyeworks Touchdown), Julia Parnell (Notable Pictures) and Zoe Hobson (38 Pictures).
