After 30 years service with The Metropolitan Police I retired in 2016. A self imposed period of reflection on my future saw me work in a variety of roles. In 2021 I embarked on a change brought about by the Covid pandemic restrictions and began to write a story. In March 2022 I published my debut novel, Dysfunction, a dystopian tale of what might have happened during the pandemic. A move to the Dordogne in France in 2023 slowed my writing. But in February 2024 I published my latest novel, Indomitable. This time a grand historical fiction. I write entertaining and thoughtful stories, covering a wide range of genres. I continue to write, as a cathartic and interesting hobby.,
