Working as a year 6 teacher for ages 9 to 10 and a year 4 teacher for ages 7 to 8. During the 3 years, I have been in charge of Physical Education for the primary school. This has involved arranging sports matches and tournaments with the other schools. Managing the school teams, organising all sporting events within the school, supporting the other teachers in their lessons and maintaining and ordering new equipment.

Working as a year 5 teacher for ages 9 to 10. During the 2 years, I shared year group responsibilities and took charge of arranging class trips. I set up a ‘Primary Environmental Club’ that worked in alongside the local Rotary group to meet the United Nations ‘Sustainable Development Goals’. As a group, we introduced recycling to the whole school, organised beach clean ups and promoted sustainability. Throughout the 2 years, I also managed the school sailing team.

This responsibility involved writing a new computer science curriculum for the whole of KS1 and KS2. I have also delivered CPD sessions to the staff and arranged webinars for parents on Internet safety. Throughout the 2 years, I also lead a KS2 extra curricular swimming squad.
